About Me

Hugh McCullough
I recently graduated from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, and have been developing a great passion for wine over the last few years through work in a restaurant with an award-winning wine list in Oxford, as Sommelier of The Seafood Restaurant in St Andrews, and at Scotland's oldest independent wine and whisky retailer, Luvians Bottle Shop. I am always looking to try more wines and expand my knowledge. I aim to share my thoughts and tasting experiences through this site. Currently I am based in the Barossa Valley, South Australia at Yalumba winery as part of the Mentor Me program Follow me on twitter @itsintheswirl, on Instagram at hugh_mccullough and on Facebook: www.facebook.com/itsintheswirl
